Louise Jean Locantore passed away Pentecost Sunday, also Mothers Day, Louise was an amazingly dedicated CORE member for LT for several years.She will be missed dearly.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00AM in St. Joseph 's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd., Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery in Charlton. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.

Some events to consider…but act now! 

Steubenville East Youth Conference:  We have almost 50 kids signed up for July 18-20^th!  Still looking for deposits from kids who have signed up and want to remind anyone else who still might want to go.  Dep. have to be turned in by May 18^th at latest.  Please make a check payable to St. Joseph LIFE TEEN for $40. Final cost cannot be determined until we know how many total kids and chaperones are going but it won’t be more than $125. (including your dep.).  This counts as a 2^nd retreat for Confirmation.  Applications are in the envelope, please turn those in by May 18^th and then we will know who to send final payment info to.  Final payments will have to be in by June 8^th  

Need more info…“Steubie East” in Attleboro, Ma (LaSalette Shrine) has the best speakers, music, and priests in the country.  Free time and tons of other kids to meet…3000 of them!  And NO you aren’t praying all the time…it is actually a ton of fun.  We have kids who have gone 7 years in a row (they now go as chaperones)!  Check out www.steubenvilleeast.org for videos and more info.  We leave on Fri, July 18^th in morning and come back on Sun. July 20^th around 3:30pm.

….Wear/bring clothes that you don’t mind getting messy in and a towel, because we are going to get really, really messy.  Teams compete to see who can make the best whip cream hairdo, bake a team cake w/o an oven, create a human bird feeder…oh, you can’t even imagine!  We’ll eat, get messy, then get hosed off before sending you home…
